Well, that's the $64,000 Pyramid question now ... is it not?

ETA: I've been there, Operation Bright Star, we jumped-in to Memphis back in the early 80s. They were the first thing I saw under silk. Used-to-be there were some things on the tour that would blow your mind but they no longer allow tourists into some of those places or the Valley of the Kings.

The Pyramids are not the biggest heaviest enigma in the Middle East though. There are man made cut stones in walls in Lebanon that dwarf the stones used in the Pyramids. 1000 ton stones ... we have nothing that would move them into place even today and the joints are so tight you can't get a sheet of paper between them.

The ones that big are still sitting in their quarry though, they didn't move them. The Trilithon had smaller stones under 800 tons.
