With one caveat, it put you in a position to kiss your arse goodbye. We all thought it nonsense but it was not optional. It was ordered by the greatest generation administrators. But, back to the OP... I'm more right, right, center but not far right. But, I was totally opposed to our getting involved at all and certainly not to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars.
