Many musicians have touched people's souls & provided billions the soundtrack of their lives. (ex: a song that was playing during one's first kiss/date/marriage, memories of a deceased loved one's favorite song/performer/band, melodies or rhythms that dictate/fit someone's mood daily, lyrics that expressly convey one's thoughts/philosopy etc.)
It's pretty personal. Sometimes the bond with a musician's catalogue is more intimate than actual relationships.
