Rewatched the season 1 finale last night, glad I did because I had forgotten a lot.
I forgot just how bad of actresses the girls who play Peggy and Flora are. Maybe they have gotten better in season two, but they really do try and drag a show down with an otherwise really well acted show. I don't dislike their characters, but man it's bad. That was really my only gripe about season one.
I don't know how I wasn't thinking about this while originally watching season one but man the drama is some serious first world problems
The big drama for Mrs. Ruseell in the finale was that Mrs. Astor snubbed her at her front door and everyone would hear about it.
