re: What would be Mississippi State's overall reputation as a university be?

My daughter chose LSU over State/Ole Miss. She always wanted to go to LSU. So she buckled down and got a really good out of state scholarship. But most of her close friends go to State (a lot of great smart kids)and she loves visiting for games. She has mentioned it being her second choice. Ole Miss was never in the running.
I'm proud of her for making the decision she did. I’ve noticed a lot of kids are too scared to leave their friends and go to a school they know hardly no one. Even it’s a better fit academically.
