I think some of you guys have a wrong view of these classes w regard to stars

I’ve always looked at

3 stars - development and depth pieces, contributors 2-4 years in with some few exceptions that are underrated that can compete and contribute early

4 stars - early contributors, push for spot in the 2deep, top4 stars push for significant playing time and occasional starts and May break into starting roles later in season if they flash

5 stars - immediate contributors, SEC ready given the opportunity, impact players can dominate at their position

If you contextualize when we get guys that are 3 stars remember the bigger picture and be patient and be happy when some of them pop early and expect depth to be strong and then to contribute significantly by their 3-4 year in the program

That’s what makes recruiting so unpredictable. Coming in the ratings are only potential and expectation. Not performance after they get here

5 stars imo are one with athleticism that you can't coach and a high ceiling. Take for instance Weston Davis our newest commit. He has played 22 football games in his life and is super athletic which you can't coach but leverage, strength, and technique can be coached. He is raw and will redshirt. Many 5 stars should not be viewed as early contributors especially on the line of scrimmage. Guys like Perkins are rare exceptions that warrant early PT.
