They believed their own hype and jumped to the SEC thinking their former conference was better than ours. They ran like hell to get away from Texas and assumed they'd come in and run the SEC west like it was a central-texas whorehouse.

They were wrong, and have paid for it ever since (literally).

And now that the Jimboob experiment is failing and big brother TexASS is coming back to haunt them, recruits are seeing them for what they are - pretenders.

At this point we don't have to outspend them on NIL, we just need to keep winning. 5* players may like the fat NIL bags, but kids at that level fully expect to go to the NFL and make money that dwarfs their NIL payments.

Why go to 4&7 for more NIL money and lose out on the NFL, when you can play for a winning team that has a record of putting players in the pros (and still get NIL money along the way).

But okay Aggies, keep on being Aggie. Somebody has to clean the SEC West's bathrooms, after all.
