This is barely being mentioned in the media, but Jenna Ellis already admitted everything was a lie back in March of this year in a disciplinary hearing before the Colorado Bar, which is ruled on by the Colorado Supreme Court.
CO Supreme Court Statement
So, she was kind of stuck. She can't admit she lied in Colorado, and then deny it in Georgia. And, really, it's not difficult to defend oneself in a disciplinary matter. Or find a friend who will represent you for free.
If her statements about election fraud had any factual basis, all she had to do in Colorado was show the information she relied on to make those statements. Instead she chose to admit lying.
And she may be in more trouble in Colorado. One reason she was censured and not dis-barred was that her lies were not a crime. Now her lies are a felony. She could lose her license anyway.
And here's something weird about her "trusting the more experienced attorneys": Whenever I was second or third chair in a legal proceedings, it was MY job to fact check and make sure lead counsel was saying the right things. What was she even contributing if she was just doing what they told her?

You mean the Colorado Supreme Court that is comprised of 7 Justices all appointed by a Democratic Governor? Wonder why she would have done that….
