Be prepared for a significant jump in property taxes over Bossier. If you move to an area that is building, your property taxes will go up quickly as new houses are built and sold. There’s no state income tax, but property taxes make up for that. You probably need to look at Celina and areas north of Frisco, McKinney and Prosper.
