If it were a hot pursuit of a murder suspect, I could see it.

If they were chasing that “shots fired” call and were only a block or two away, I could see it.

Problem is that Government and Foster is a long fricking way from Electric Depot, meaning they had a good 20-30 blocks or so between that intersection and the area where the call came from.

In their rush to get to a big call, they hauled arse through an intersection which is busy most times of the day despite being pretty damn far from where the call came in.

How many times have we all seen cops, ambulances, and fire trucks both leaving and going towards dire emergencies slow down and even come to a stop in big intersections?

That is common place and the safe way to go about. You can't help anyone if you wreck your vehicle on the way. These cops majorly fricked up and killed an innocent guy.
