I just flew to north dakota with two shotguns. The lady checking my bags tried to tell me I needed TSA approved locks which is a lie. I showed her what where it said on TSA's website that you didn't. Other than that no problems. In Minot i had to show an ID to get my guns in new orleans he said hell naw baw dis new orleans ya guns with the luggage. it was much easier than i thought traveling on a plane. Basically check it you have to unlock it to show them the guns you sign a slip saying they arent loaded put the slip in case lock it back up and youre done
