LSU reeled in a legacy commitment this summer when 2025 Sulphur (La.) tight end JD LaFleur committed to the Tigers. The four-star prospect added an offer from the Tigers after his June summer camp performance.
Now, he’s in the On300, which was updated on Monday.
He’s the No. 236 overall prospect, No. 15 tight end and No. 7 prospect in Louisiana, according to On3.
The 6-6, 230-pounder added offers from Miami, Baylor, Tulane, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and others before ultimately committing to LSU. He was back on campus on Saturday for the win over Auburn.
“The atmosphere Saturday was awesome as it always is in Tiger Stadium,” LaFleur told On3. “It was a fast start by the offense and a great team win. It was fun and exciting to watch the Tigers dominate!”

This mix of BK tradition and LSU tradition is going to become lethal.
BK is known for his OL and TE developments. Those two positions will continue to attract top recruits because they know his track record.
LSU is known for consistently producing athletes at the WR and DB positions. That's not going to change anytime soon.
Toss in Joe Sloan doing something special at QB development and we will have well rounded teams for years to come.
