Because ignoring "small" things like this have weakened the United States to a point that the damage may be irrevocable. But it’s not surprising that you and those like you don’t see the bigger picture. The dumbing down of the population is intentional, has been going on for decades, and will be the undoing of the United States as we know it. I would bet most young people in the United States are more interested in who Taylor Swift is banging than events that will have impact the world for decades if not centuries. People fall basically into three categories; you either fight evil, join evil, or do nothing to combat evil. Doing nothing is no different than being evil as they both accomplish the same goals. As a person, you will need to decide what category you fall in.
