I'd think it would be a lot better for the kids both developmentally and for safety reasons to just shuffle them all in and out of games no matter how good or bad they are.
I don’t care if the kid was the star of the team or never stepped on the field, the coach didn’t deserve to be shot multiple times over playing time.
