J Aron Company was a New Orleans coffee commodity broker. They became the Goldman Sachs Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities division. Plenty of German Jews around.

Not what I meant and you know it.
A number of countries in the world are either “judenfrei” or close to it because Jews were chased out or killed, with some of the biggest movement being in the 1930s and 1940s in Europe from France to various former Soviet republics and satellites.
Hence why pissing and moaning about how the US (not subject to the Holocaust) and Israel (where a huge number of Jews moved to post-1945) have 85% of all Jews is disingenuous.
