re: What do you call the area right outside the North Gates of LSU?

The Tiger Town name worked better when there was still a grocery store, a theater, music shops, lots of food options, and those sorts of things. The abandoned businesses, half a dozen smoke shops, and constant garbage on the streets just doesn't have the same vibe.
