I can’t remember the guys name but years ago I deposed a Palestinian here in BR.

He was BATSHIT INSANE.

Included in his medical records was an indication that every time he would travel home he would come back with some other kind of shrapnel. Seriously there were about 3 different incidents.

He seemed old at the time, but I was like 28 years old, so I’m not sure if he was super old or just weathered from being a fricking terrorist.

I’m just chuckling imagining my 28 yr old self in stilettos and a sweater set asking this lunatic questions with my little outline and my legal pad

When you start a deposition you always get background info. I knew he was an immigrant some kind of way so I asked him where he was born. Oh my - the response turned into a tirade. His answer took like 5 minutes and was a total rant involving whatever the frick Gaza or the West Bank were called before they were Gaza and the West Bank. The nails that came off the bomb in his medical records began to make sense.

The shrapnel questions were also interesting. Are you sure that your back hurts bc of this car accident and not because of that time you took some shrapnel for Hamas?

My boss did a dramatic reading of the transcript when it came in. It was freaking unbelievable. I have to call him and see if he can find it somewhere.
