I worked with a lady from Israel who had a photo of her in her fatigues holding her machine gun. She would have killed a terrorist in a New York minute. It is the way many of them are. More so now.

I was thinking about this lady and remembered a few things. At that time, I worked for an Israeli company in Mississippi, north of Meridian. Their people usually flew into Atlanta, or Birmingham and drove to their plant (OTC Drugs).

Their folks always stayed in Meridian. While in town, she always wanted to get bacon when we business dined. When she would order, she usually asked if she could get a few slices of bacon with her meal. She told me once that as soon as her plane landed, she would go to a food place in the airport and get either breakfast with extra bacon, or a burger with extra bacon.

She said getting bacon worth eating was very difficult in Israel. She was a committed Jew. I guess other than kosher observance. As far as I could tell, none of the people who came over were strongly kosher, except for their resident VP, who lived in Atlanta, where there was a strong Synagogue.

The lady I mentioned was very good looking too. As I said in my first post, she would have had no problem shooting a terrorist, or however many she came up against. Several of the women who came over talked about their military duty. We usually got around to weapons and training. From my experience, they were all well trained and capable of doing whatever it took. I always assumed it was due to the culture they grew up in and the ever-present threat of Palestinian violence in the part of Israel where they lived.
