You'd think those who have served in the IDF and live near Gaza would be allowed to. Hopefully they will be now.

Wait a minute. Surely there is no way in hell that a country comprised of one group of people surrounded by a massive number of people who would like nothing better than to see the smaller group dead is not armed to the teeth?????? That can't possibly be. I am convinced if I do not have a gun on hand at all times in upper middle income neighborhoods in the US that I am going to die any second and Israelis live with an actutal existential threat at their door every day and manage to make it through day without being strapped. That simply can not be true....that has to be some anti-gun propaganda...
