It is a concept sale/program, similar to Krispy Krunchy. They don’t make any product, they have their branded items that customers have to buy. Crust, cheese, toppings, boxes, napkins, signage, etc. They may require certain ovens, but no franchise fees, Hunts makes money by customers being compliant and rebates on the back end. Great deal all around.

Have they changed the business model?
They used to produce the product, but rarely was their name on the packaging. So "Speedway Pizza" was actually Hunt. "BP Pizza" was Hunt.
