How does someone like her not have medical insurance?
A week or longer in a hospital is not cheap
Plus if she had to have heart surgery or something major she would owe 6 figures

She was a gymnast, do you think she had a fortune? There was no money then, and her bit parts on tv shows were a pittances compared to today. She probably signed autographs and scraped by.
