quote:That's what I wanted to know. I think it might have only been on the upper level? We mentioned it to some Mizzou people we happened to spend some time at a tailgate with and they didn't know what we were talking about.
When I entered the stadium last Saturday, I was made to put on a wristband that allowed me to buy concessions. You had to wear a wristband. Otherwise, you would be turned away. What was not initially explained was that the wristband entitled its wearer to bottled water, soft drinks, popcorn, and hot dogs for free, with no limitations.
How in the hell does that work?
But seriously - one LSU fan came back with literally 15 dogs and was passing them out like a vendor.
The crowd sounds louder on TV I think, but it seemed REALLY sedate during the game - and they were 5-0! I commented that I would hate to see how quiet they got if they won the national title. Just seemed like they didn't care all that much.

The wristbands were for the upper deck only. A Mizzou fan explained they rarely get a sellout and the school was trying to motivate people to buy the upper deck tickets to get a full stadium to create a better football atmosphere. No limit to the number of drinks, hot dogs and popcorn. Hot dogs were good.
