I would love the GTS but that’s out of my price range. Not only is it ~100k before options but dealers mark up the GTS where as the cayman S I speced is ~95k without markups. Anything with a 911 engine is marked up.

Understandable.

Also for how “nice” the LT3 interior was, it all goes to moot because so uncomfortable.

The LT3 comes std with the GT2 seat and the comp seat is optional. The GT1 seat is the most comfortable but is the least attractive and you can only get it in an LT1 or LT2 interior. I personally find the seats fine, not perfect but very good. My only real complaint is the center console makes me feel like the passenger is in another zipcode and having ridden as a passenger I felt really disconnected from the driver.

Overall it is a great car but cars are very personal which is why there are Fords and Chevrolets and Lamborghinis and Ferraris. Also, the reason why the Powell Motors The Homer exists.
