tighten the air valve or replace the core the little rubber gasket in the core dries out gets hard and lets air leak out

After reading this message chain, I walked past my Zero Turn, and left rear was all but flat.
My Kobalt air pump would run, output climbed to 30,40,50 psig- but only 2-3 pounds pressure in the tire.
Replaced the valve stem core and now back to proper inflation/ Kobalt air pump behaving as normal.

So- a bad air stem core can cause leakage and hard to refill. It was stuck.
