Aruba is incredibly safe. Very friendly folks and prices aren't bad. Wife and I got married there in 2019 and go back every year for our anniversary.
Where to stay - Depends on what you are looking for. The high rise area has a lot more tourists. We generally stay in the low rise area (Manchebo, Bucuti & Tara Beach resort, etc.) The low rise area is a lot more quiet.
We go diving every year, so if you are into Scuba it's a really nice spot. I've gone deep see fishing before and caught a few mahi mahis. Any other advice, just ask!
