Heading to MO first week of November
I go every year and bring 3 different pairs of boots because you never know how the weather is going to be. I have a pair of Cabelas insulated hiking boots I wear if it’s dry and cold. Which is probably what I’ll be wearing this year. If it’s wet and cold, and/or snowing, I wear 800 gram insulated lacrosse burlys. A lot of people go with more insulation but I think the 800’s are perfect because they aren’t as bulky and your feet won’t sweat as much as they will in 1200 or 1600’s. And then I wear lacrosse alpha agility’s non insulated for everything else. The agility’s are my go to boot for down here the majority of the season. If it’s colder, I just wear a good merino sock and I’ll change my socks if I walk a long ways and my feet sweat.
