First of all, we only recruited one interior defensive lineman in this class, Maason Smith. The following players have basically had no impact at LSU: Bryce Langston, Coren Kiner left LSU and went to Cincy, Damarius McGhee left LSU and went to Kansas, Deion Smith left LSU, Derrick Davis left LSU and is at Pitt, Jack Bech left and went to TCU, Jalen Shead is at Millsaps, Landon Jackson is at Arkansas, Mike Jones from Clemson was a non-factor, Navonteque Strong entered the portal, and Zavier Carter is at UNLV.

So how many is that on players who’ve left I last couple years?

Only 4 players among that group was any good to begin with, Smith, Smith, Davis and Jackson. Smith we know. Deion Smith was the most talented wr in his class but is a knucklehead. Not sure what the deal with Davis is. Kid is very talented. Jackson has never been the same since that nasty injury his SR year. Rest of those guys were questionable takes when we took them aside from maybe McGhee. If still here they'd just be taking up valuable space on the roster like Langston is currently.

Why? Ed Orgeron, his girlfriends and their children, his divorce, sold out the program, burnt it on the way out, players left the program in droves and most just quit…. ESPECIALLY the defensive backs. 40% of a full scholarship team left at the end of the year. He left the program as a complete shite show. Thank Ed next time you see him.

Ed O was fired in early October but was allowed to still coach the rest of the year. That was a huge mistake by Woody. The program had no leader/vision for months. And it shows now.
