Has this new thread replaced the blood thirst Russia/Ukraine thread for moderate OTers? Who are they pulling for in this one and how many hundreds of billions should we send? I'll hang up and listen.

I think this is the begging of the end for Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Iranian regime. Once Israel goes in and clears Rafah which should be less than 3 weeks.
Israel assassinated Mohammad Reza Zahedi, Iranian IRGC’s Syria-Lebanon chief. Zahedi is the replacement for Suleimani (who Trump took out) and he is by far the most important person in organizing Hezbollah and associated Shi'ite militias in the region. This is a blow to Iran since it is hard to find yet another replacement with the skills and contacts Zehadi had. This is especially true since his deputy was also killed. In addition, nine other senior officials were killed.
The Iranian inner circle is now totally compromised. The amount of intelligence needed to carry this out was tremendous. All of Zahedi's movements are planned out carefully and hidden from view. From all accounts he was a paranoid man who did all he could to feret out informers.
Other recent assassinations make this a crisis for Iran. Senior IRGC officer Brig. Gen. Razi Mousavi was killed and other highly important officials in the network arming Hezbollah have been killed in the interim.
This means the Iranian network is now disorganized and paranoid, lowering their ability to threaten Israel. It also shows Iran that they will pay a price for their destabilizing regional policy.
