I understand the statute, I guess, but I would think that there needs to be some reason to think that the intent was serious and that there was a reasonable belief that she could follow up on her list. Maybe we have not heard all the details, but just making a list of people she hates should not be a felony.

I mean, if she literally just made a list of people she hates, i agree.

But we don't know what was written down, even if it were meant to be private, if she made this list and also on the paper is something that makes it very clear that this is a list of people she wants to kill, that's a problem if someone finds it. Especially for a 13 year old and schoolmates being on the list.
