so why did they throw him behind the two when he came in for Fall camp? Answer me that. ....try to come up with something better "he was just better! Look what he did in High school!"

So you're saying that JJ, coming in as a true freshman, had a leg up on both Lee and Hatch? Two QB's that went through spring practice. One that had a little bit of playing time last year?

Yeah, every clip I've seen of him from highschool is 90% running. He has great mechanics, strong arm and all of that, but his first instinct is to run and that won't get him much more than injured until he learns when to run, and when to throw it away. He does look good, but I wouldn't be so silly as to say, "He's been ready all along," or even that he is "ready" now.
