re: Since bears have been in the news lately. Have you ever seen one

I've seen a few of them here in Arkansas

almost hit one crossing the road last year. Was driving my old commute about 630am or so and saw from the distance something on the side of the road that I couldn't immediately identify, as I'm getting closer the bear gets on the highway by the shoulder and then I realized... oh hey that's a fricking bear.. and then he decided to run across the road over by the creek when I'm pretty close to him. Had to break as it scurried across the street.
