I've seen at least 3 20-30 year old good ol baw's with disposable income and a monkey.
I took this at a hotel I was staying in last year. This guy was the breeder and was on his way to drop these off after the sale.
I think one was a baboon and the other some kind of monkey. He said they are cool as babies, but in a few months the baboon would kill and eat the smaller one if he could get his hands on it.

What kind of white trash, tatted up trailer park family has a monkey for a pet?

My buddies parents are both veterinarians and owned an exotic animal park when he was younger. They had a colony of those Spider Monkeys on the property who learned not only to open their enclosure but could operate a door knob and get into the main house. He said they were the bane of his existence when he was in high school because, once they were grown, they would constantly break into his room - steal his stuff and take it back to their enclosure and then flip out when he tried to take his shite back. As he puts it to this day - "Monkeys are assholes."
