Agreed, and I've seen this all season long across college football, not just LSU. Defenses are really poorly coached these days.

I think LSU's corners are better suited to play man than zone. I know a lot of people disagree with me and that's fine, but there is enough length and athleticism to play man, they just need to get more physical and have a short memory when they get beat. I've seen them make good plays on the ball when playing man, the bigger issue is the lack of safety help and lack of pass rush IMO.

Yes, and I can't even be mad at Savion, that's a complete failure in coaching.

He was the best player on defense against Ole Miss and maybe the only guy out there who looked like he cared at times.

Lots of good, thoughtful comments about our defense and tackling. Yes, tackling technique can be taught. But, a lot of the tackling problems appear that players DO NOT want to tackle!! When the ball carrier breaks the line or when a receiver makes a catch, it looks like several on our defense really shy away from attacking the runner. It looks like some are just waiting on others to make the play.

Just my thoughts.
