How is she living above her means when she has over 4k left over after bills each month?
Because she doesn’t. $9,000 a month is ~$6800 in take home after taxes as a single person filer with no dependents. She is taking home $3,500 a month before paying any bill other than rent or saving. That will go fast in whatever high cost of living area she lives in.
And before you crawfish and say the $9,000 is net after taxes - you’ve already said in this thread she has the potential to one day earn $150,000 - $200,000.
So to summarize, your daughter is a 23 year old CPA with a masters degree, a fully paid off Audi, makes $108,000, and yet you are here grousing because the government is going to collect on her $40,000 student loan balance.
