I know a great way to keep this shite from happening. The trucks actually go 55 in the right lane and the cars go 60 in the left.

You’re going too fast. This isn’t a Grand Prix on I-10.
Let’s see you get hit at 80 with little to no shoulder.
If I drove a truck, I would avoid the basin bridge like the plague. I would take 190 or the scenic route through Morgan City on 90 if headed to NOLA or the River Parishes.
