I usually "throw-and-mow," which is sort of a poor mans no till... but not this year. I haven't disced in a couple of years but my plan is to turn dirt and cultipack this weekend and plant the following Friday or Saturday (a full month after I normally plant). I know not to have much confidence in long-range forecasts but several days of rain is predicted in my area starting Sunday 11/12.
