He wasn't. He was a member of some of the best defenses LSU has ever had. LSU was the only defense in football that stopped the best power and spread offenses. They did it by emphasizing a team approach rather than trying to get sack statistics.

And those defenses could've won more games if they teed off on the passer instead of going prevent and contain on 3rd and long. And Hunter, regardless of scheme, was also underutilized simply because he was poorly coached on technique.

I'm not saying we should've given up our gameplan on Johnny Manziel.
