There are more to animals than we know. I’m not saying they have a conscious or a soul, but I am open to discussing if there is more to them than just pure instinct.

There absolutely is. I know Dogs have a soul I can see emotion on their face. I know a girl with a pet raccoon and that thing is protective as hell over her.
I fully believe animals have feelings to an extent. I think humans without civilization would be similar. 90% instinct but there would be instances of emotion and feelings when core survival isn’t the driving factor

I’ve always thought animals souls. Dogs get jealous of another dog getting your attention. You don’t get jealous like that unless you possess love. Animals dream, show happiness by smiling, bring peoples phones back after they drop in the ocean, protect children, I could go on and on. I know I’ll see my dog Lucy when I pass.
