Foot. If I play 18 I get a 2.5-3 mile walk in. Scratches on my legs too if I throw into those damned palmettos.

It is primarily played on foot but there are some private courses that rent carts. They can be useful in that scenario because they often have multiple courses and you pay for the day and can get more in if you ride. An example of that WAS Selah Ranch in Talco Tx but it closed last year. The majority of people carry their discs and other crap in backpacks but some use push carts or shoulder bags. I prefer a push cart if the terrain allows it.

I have been playing for about 13 years and having played golf all my life I have to say I prefer it now. One of the things I love is how much more you can move a disc in the air compared to a ball. If you need to throw 150ft out of a tunnel of trees and make a 90 degree turn for 30 more feet you can do it with a RHBH throw using a stall shot and the right disc with a lot of fade. Shaping shots and course management are what make golf fun and there is so much more an amateur disc golfer can do vs whacking a ball.

Buying discs can be addictive and I probably have 300 but the cost of DG still pales in comparison to ball golf. I probably play 10X as much DG as golf and I still spend less money.

My favorite course in the BR area is Flanacher (my hypothetical shot above us basically hole #3). A lot of people don't like it but I love hauling my dogs out there and playing 20 holes (I avoid #2 because it is trash if you don't have a spotter and holds water at the green).
