Is it possible to avoid having to use Elder in the LDS for game 4 without bringing Fried or Strider back on three days rest?
I don’t think that’s the case huh? It’s either throw Elder or throw Fried/Strider on three days.

Fried and Strider will be able to pitch 4 and 5 on regular rest if it comes to that.

Yes. There are 3 off days built into the NLDS schedule this year as opposed to 1 last year.
