I am convinced Fulmer NEEDS Cutcliff to succeed. MSU can't do any better, but I don't think they would be getting what they were hoping for.

At his age, it will be hard for him to get a HC job. Plus with the cash in the bank, it is hard to keep the level of energy needed to be a HC.

There is no if about it. See the latest Wojenchowski article on ESPN which tracks his last 24 hours at UT (If you can't find it tough. I read it a few hours ago).

The question is why he would want to go to MSU. When is the last time MSU was a positive experience for any head coach? No offense to MSU fans but no coach has had long term success there and none has moved to better jobs from there. I would think Fulmer would wait, probably for a job outside the SEC. UW would be a much better fit than MSU.
