It is huge for Daniels and LSU, consistency is what the NFL is looking for in a 1st round pick. And consistency is what LSU needs from Daniels to take LSU to another level this season.

Daniels is as good as anybody in the country when he’s on. He has had 2 great games against sub par competition. Let’s see him read an elite defense and torch them.

This is 1000% true. Daniels was really good last year. But he does need to take his game to another level to take LSU to another level. And the biggest part of that jump is being more consistent. I mentioned he’ll have peaks and valleys. He has to limit how low his valleys are and have a few more peaks in big games. He doesn’t have to go 30-34 for 340+ every week, but he can’t have any 10-24 for 125s, either. His lows have to still be high enough for us to win a couple ugly games if needed.
