They have a golden opportunity to retcon the sequel trilogy. I really don't care how they do it either.

But they won't. Because Rey is Female and the Force is Female

Yeah they won’t. They should, but they won’t. Too many feelings to be hurt.

It's a stretch, but....

What if the journey to another galaxy takes more time than they realize (Like how in the movie Interstellar, he's gone for a few months, but because of time-space/science, it ends up being decades)

So is it possible, that Thrawn does arrive, but arrives after the events of the crap sequel trilogy?

I doubt Kennedy/Disney would allow it, but it's a thought.

Daisy Ridley as Rey, like Hayden Christensen as Anakin before her, gets undue hate for something that’s not her fault. Rey had/has great potential as a character if the writing and story made sense and were allowed to breathe. Has nothing to do with her being female.

Ahsoka and Leia are female and two of the great characters in canon. Hera is fantastic, Sabine is intriguing, etc.

This is a long shot, but I think maybe he's searching for Bendu just not knowing that's who or what he is looking for?

I had this same thought. Or if not Bendu directly, then something like him.
