The other thorn on that committee besides Hensgens is Pat Connick. I hope you NO guys can vote that shyster out of office. He’s a real enemy of the business community, and has been a major obstacle for any sort of tort reform over his too-long tenure in the legislature

Getting the Connick family out of politics and power is a steep uphill battle.

Connick….. the other senator with a Menhaden plant in his district. Daybrook Fisheries is in Empire.
I think the most frustrating thing is that LWF just told every angler in the state we should not target Bull Redfish, we need to get the breeding stock numbers up.
When I asked them for a comment on the pictures and pointed out that the breeding stock is dead on a beach they sent me the rules and studies that say they can have between 1%and 5% bycatch.
So willing to increase regulation on recreational anglers but don’t lift a finger on the industrial fishing.
