Interviewer: Talking about GM's push for EVs, you refer to "green energy," but where does the electricity for your EVs come from?

Mary Barra: (with an incredulous expression) From that plug over there. (Pointing to the wall outlet)

Interviewer: No ... I mean what is the source of the electricity here?

Mary Barra: (with a furrowed brow) Oh, uh, it comes from a wire.

No, I'm not kidding. It was an actual interview carried on CNBC a year or so ago.
