No pick 6 as well. We have a qb!

Jn JL's case its JL

Lee stares down LaFell. I was going to say his receivers.. but it's really just LaFell.. which LaFell really stepped up this year and bailed Lee out a ton.. but Jefferson spreads the ball around and uses his receivers strengths.. in particular Toliver.

i agree jefferson saw the field a lot better especially since it was his very first start. He performed well, some throws weren't great but sometimes the receivers need to come back for the ball and not sit and wait. I was down on byrd this season and his performance just led me to believe that he threw the towel personally on Lee.

Jefferson's first half performance was amazing and the beginning of the third quarter we marched down the field, then i saw an entirely different offense get on the field, we went conservative and it gave Arkansas momentum.

I think Jefferson will be the starter next season, i'm not a lee hater but he just didn't improve all season. I wouldn't shite a brick if Lee started but i think Jefferson is the smarter quarterback on the field.

I just wish miles would do away with the older/experience when factoring in who becomes the starter. No way does Andrew Hatch beat the other 2 out in an honest open qb competition.. He is terrible throwing the ball. No arm. Also no way does Lee beat out Jordan Jefferson in an honest open qb competition. Jordan's skill asset alone would win over Lee.

JJ should have won the starting job in the spring.. but there was never a chance for him to.. If he had gotten his reps from day one of the season he could have really developed into something special. What he did as a TRUE FRESHMAN late on such limited playcalling was pretty damn impressive.

Everyone keeps talking about how Jefferson is a pure passer and most misinterpret him for being a running qb simply bc he is black. Well after watching him play he does both really well. Strong arm, and solid runner. Great skill set.

All I ask is miles please let all the qb's compete this time.. fairly and honestly.. including the incoming Shep and the QB out of Mississippi.

I agree with this. I am in no means a Lee hater. I just don't think he showed any progression.. He really regressed if you will..

If we go to a 2 qb system next year I hope it's Jefferson the pure passer/Shephard the pure runner.. but really I'd be completely happy with Jefferson as the only qb and Shep as the Percy Harvin-type of player.

Question. How tall is Jefferson compared to Shephard and Lee?

i want to see Jefferson in this system after a year of learning the entire play book. I hope the play calling gets better in game situation. Don't know who to blame but the second half of Arkansas aside from the early lafell td was horrendous.
