The only reason I’m not staying the mid-90’s is because the technology was behind - meaning, most tailgates had trouble with having TVs (if at all) for other games, music was hit or miss. LSU was improving with some big players / recruits (Faulk, Mealey, Tyler, Booty, Banks), but still had that underdog mentality.
But, for the technology reason, the early 2000s….2000-2003, specifically were the best. The program was on the uptick, the momentum was there, the fans were juiced, and the university, largely, left us alone.
