I have an adopted, not really a rescue I guess because the whole litter was at someone’s house. Not sure if you consider that a rescue. Got her from
Cajun Tails. She’s half blue heeler, half Aussie shepherd. I couldn’t imagine a better dog. She’s super smart, protective but knows how to chill when she knows we’re ok with strangers. I can leave her outside, unfenced property. We have almost 2 acres and she will not leave the property or go into the street. She’s playful and sweet and she listens almost perfectly unless she’s treed a squirrel and then it’s damn near impossible to get her back in She has free roam of the house at all times. Hasn’t had an accident since she was a young puppy and hasn’t chewed up very much (the occasional remote, reading glasses or the wife’s slipper) but that’s been less than 8 times in 2 years. For us, she’s the perfect dog.
