I’m a coonass from da bayou, Louisiana will always be my home, especially with family here in Lafayette and on the West Bank.

But my son and his family are in Denver, my wife retires next year and I am also fully remote.

Plan on working another 10 years at least til I’m 65 so I can afford nicer toys and a 2nd place in remote high altitude Colorado few hours NW of Denver near the flat tops where I used to Elk hunt with my Pop and brothers. Even if it’s just an RV on a plot of land next to the national forest at first and build a cabin later.

Will be nice to winter at home in Louisiana and summer in the mountains - especially if we’re going to have more brutal summers like this past one.

Gonna have to sell my cattle and get into crawfish instead maybe to be able to get away all summer.
