FFS, can we get some age and term limits?
Short of that, you could also reduce some of the advantages given to incumbents (e.g. franking), but they aren't going to do that either.

2/3 of the states could move it forward without Congress. Multiple states have proposed constitutional convention. Honestly, I'm not sure about trusting a multi issue convention. SIX states have proposed moving forward with Term Limits only. That is the path IMO - one defined and passable issue at a time. Call your state legislators and tell them it is time to move forward on this and bypass Congress.
